I shower daily so having a body wash that doesn’t dry my skin out is very important to me, and with the Native Body Wash, it doesn’t contain any harsh sulfates that would otherwise strip my skins natural oils and disrupt my skins barrier. So here’s my honest review of a bodycare product that promises a clean, simple and effective shower routine.

Who is Native

Native is a hair and beauty brand from the USA who are focused on providing products that are clean, simple and effective. Their product range includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, toothpaste and deodorant which are all made with naturally derived ingredients.

Native Body Wash

Native have just over 20 different body wash scents and for this review I was gifted the Coconut & Vanilla scent. These body washes are great for those with sensitive skin as they do not contain sulfates, parabens or dyes.

First Impressions

Upon opening my parcel from Native, I could instantly smell the creamy, sweet fragrance of coconut and vanilla. It smells absolutely divine.

Packaging

The body wash comes in a large bottle (532ml), so enoughto keep you going for sometime. The packaging design is very clean and simple, and I love the explanation of the ingredients on the back of the bottle.

According to the Native website, their packaging is plastic free but may not meet all degradable standards. So they do advise on checking with the local council to verify if these bottles are currently compostable or biodegradable.

My Final Thoughts

The Coconut & Vanilla body wash smells absolutely gorgeous. It is a subtle scent of creamy coconut with a sweet hint of vanilla that doesn’t overwhelm.

The body wash itself lathers up nicely and you don’t actaully need to use too much of it either – so that big bottle really does last. Once rinsed off, skin is left feeling clean and very soft, even with daily use.
