I have always gone for the full coverage, matte finish foundations but unfortunately, these types of foundations aren’t always ideal for my skin type, as they can settle into fine lines and highlight my uneven skin texture. Whereas, the MÁDARA Skin Equal Soft Glow Foundation gives skin that smooth, radiant finish as well providing a few other skincare benefits.

When foundation meets skincare you know you are on to a winner, and the MÁDARA Skin Equal Soft Glow Foundation is no exception. This foundation gives medium buildable coverage and seamlessly evens out skin tone. It also protects skin with SPF20, helping to prevent sun damage.

How to Apply the Foundation

Once skin has been prepped with a good skincare routine, the MÁDARA Skin Equal Soft Glow Foundation can then be applied to the skin using fingers, a foundation brush or sponge, whichever application best suites you. I personally prefer using my fingers.

Starting from the centre of the face, blend the foundation outwards creating a seamless finish.

If you require more coverage, then apply light layers in areas where it is needed and blend out.

Final Verdict

The MÁDARA Skin Equal Soft Glow Foundation has really changed my mind about needing a foundation that gives full coverage and a matte finish, as it has highlighted the benefit of medium coverage with a hydrating, dewy glow.

This foundation is lightweight and applies to the skin nicely using fingers. The coverage is very good, even in areas where I have blemishes. I have to admit, I didn’t build-up the foundation as I was happy with the finish it provided with just one layer.

The wear time on this foundation is great. After 8-hours in the office, there has been no cakiness or separation, and the foundation doesn’t appear to have settled into those fine lines.

The only very minor / super picky criticism I have, is that I wish the sun protection factor was higher but from what I understand, this would change the consistency of a foundation and how well it blends.
