What I’ve Been Testing: September 2026

Over the past year or so, I’ve gone a little off track from the original purpose of Reviewed by Hanna which is sharing honest reviews based on the products I’ve actually tried and tested.

So, you will notice that September’s list of reviewed products is a little sparse but that’s something I’m working on changing. I’m getting back into testing products properly and, most importantly, getting back to writing and sharing my honest reviews.

So, let’s take a look at what I’ve reviewed during the month of September.

VT Cica Mask Cleanser

When breakouts around my chin refused to settle, I decided it was time to switch up my skincare routine and see whether the VT Cica Mask Cleanser could make a difference. Over one week, I used it to target blemishes, clear congestion and improve the overall appearance of my skin. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly my existing breakouts began to clear up. Although I also made a couple of other changes to my skincare routine, I found this cleanser worked well alongside my other skincare products and would happily continue using it as both a daily cleanser and an occasional mask.

Celimax Vita-A Retinol Serum

With fine lines, forehead wrinkles and skin texture becoming more noticeable, I was keen to see what the Celimax Vita-A Retinol Shot Tightening Serum could do for my skin. After two weeks of using this serum every evening, I was particularly interested in how my skin would respond to its 0.1% Pure Retinol and 9-Peptide Complex. The lightweight serum absorbed quickly and, despite a slight tingling sensation on application, the serum caused no redness, peeling or irritation. Instead, I began to notice a firmer, tighter feel to my skin after around a week, followed by a subtle improvement in the appearance of my forehead wrinkles by the end of week two.

Wild x Hello Kitty

Who could resist adding a little Hello Kitty charm into their everyday routine? The Wild Hello Kitty refillable cases gave me the opportunity to try out the cute cases alongside the Fresh Apple refill, while seeing how well it kept body odour and sweating under control. After several weeks of using Wilds antiperspirants, I was just as impressed with their reliable protection as I have been with other Wild products. The fresh scent and reusable design made it a lovely addition to my daily routine, combining practicality with a little fun.

Wild x Cathy Kidston

Pretty packaging is always a bonus, but I was just as interested in whether the Wild Cath Kidston Dancer Ditsy antiperspirant could deliver the everyday protection I rely on. I paired the floral refillable case with the Cashmere Rose refill and used it for several weeks to see how effectively it managed sweat and body odour. I loved the delicate floral design and beautiful rose scent, and the antiperspirant provided the reliable protection I’ve come to expect from Wild. Although I initially found the refill a little stiff to replace and the cap tricky to undo, these minor niggles didn’t take away from how much I enjoyed using it.
