Another great product from Dr Botanicals, using natural ingredients to thoroughly but gently cleanse the skin.

Dr Botanicals Cleanser

I purchased the Dr Botanicals Aloe Vera & Lavender Facial Foaming Cleanser a little while back from the Dr Botanicals website as I was curious about the two key ingredients – Aloe Vera and Lavender.

Key Ingredients

This foam cleanser contains Aloe Vera and Lavender, which apparently treats acne, eliminates redness, and helps with dry skin. It also contains glycerin, which is meant to help with moisturising the skin.

How to Use

This cleanser comes out as a foam and should be applied to wet skin, gently massaging it into the skin using your fingertips.

I only needed to use 2 pumps of the foam to remove all my makeup and make my skin clean.

Final Thoughts

As with the Dr Botanicals shampoo and conditioner, I thought the bottle was very clean and simple, but unlike the shampoo and conditioner, this bottle didn’t contain the wooden-style lid.

As for the foam cleanser, I thought it was brilliant. I didn’t need to use much to thoroughly clean my skin, and although my skin felt ‘squeaky clean’, it didn’t feel dried out. My skin didn’t appear to have any additional breakouts.

I also liked the smell of the cleanser. I can’t exactly identify the smell, but for me, it had a sweet smell and actually reminded me of the Swizzel Love Hearts!
