Here are some of my top picks that I tried and tested in September 2024, including my favourite nail brand Manucurist.

When it comes to manicures at home, Green Flash by Manucurist is my go-to, and here are my TOP 3 reasons why:

1. Long-Lasting: Green Flash gel polishes last up to 10-DAYS whereas, regular nail polishes might last a couple of days. Admittedly, there are other gel polish brands that can last up to 21 days but firstly, our nails grow everyday so it doesn’t really take that long before you start seeing a visible gap between the gel and the natural nail plate. Next, what sort of chemicals are in these polishes that make them last up to 21 days, which brings me on to my next point…

2. Medicube Zero Pore Pads 2.0

These Medicube Zero Pore Pads are dual-textured facial toner pads that help to exfoliate skin and refine pores. They contain powerful natural ingredients such as White Willow Bark (Salicylic Acid, BHA), Citric Acid (AHA), and soothing extracts.

They deeply cleanse the skin using gentle exfoliation for a natural glow and reduce sebum and pore appearance.

This is one skincare product that I would highly recommend to anyone who suffers from breakouts. The improvement in my skin has been brilliant, and this isn’t the first time I’ve used these pads.

I use these Zero Pore Pads after cleansing my skin and before using any serums. They are soaked in a good amount of product but without dripping everywhere.

I generally use the textured side as this really helps to exfoliate my skin, and in all the times I have used these they have never caused me any irritation, even on days when my skin is feeling sensitive.

I went for the scent SC.05 Ext. Columbia Road, and I absolutely love the smell of this fragrance. I not only use it as a deodorant balm for my underarms, but I also like to apply it to my neck, where I’d usually apply perfume. The scent lasts really well throughout the day and keeps my armpits dry.

As this balm is very thick in consistency, The Assistant, in my opinion, is essential in helping to dispense the balm and also to get the most product out of your tube. The design of The Assistant is brilliant, as once you have done the initial turn, the Assistant is then locked in place.

The Deodorant Balm from AKT has definitely become my new favourite for keeping me dry and smelling great all day.

4. NYX Professional Makeup Buttermelt Blush

The NYX Buttermelt Blush is infused with shea butter, mango butter, and almond butter. It is transfer resistant, fade resistant, and crease resistant – lasting up to 12 hours. It blends seamlessly like a powder and glides on just like butta!

Available in 12 gorgeous shades, with glowy and matte finishes, depending on what you want.

I am absolutely in love with these Buttermelt Blush from NYX Cosmetics. I have the shades ‘For The Butta’, which is a deeper shade of pink and ‘The Butta Half’, which is a much more brighter and vibrant pink.

The first thing I released was that you really do not need much of this blush on your brush, but even if you do go in with too much, like me, these blend out so easily. So there is no need to panic and get the face wipes out!

My personal favourite shade was the deeper pink (For The Butta), but they both looked absolutely gorgeous, and I loved the shimmer that they added to my look.

5. Purito Mighty Bamboo Panthenol Cream

I have been testing out the viral glow cream from Purito – the Mighty Bamboo Panthenol Cream. This face cream contains 10% Panthenol, which helps to restore your damaged skin barrier for more hydrated and glowing skin. This also clinically reduces water loss and increases moisture and is hypoallergenic, making it ideal for all skin types.

The consistency of the Purito Mighty Bamboo Panthenol Cream is more of a gel-like texture but does absorb really well into the skin without leaving a greasy or tacky feel.

There is no smell to this cream, making it ideal for anyone who prefers fragrance-free skincare.

I have definitely noticed that my skin has been feeling and looking a lot more moistured and hydrated. It does also gives a lovely, glowy, radiant look to the skin.
