Here are some of my favourite picks that I tried and tested in August 2024. And by the way, whittling it down to only one Wonderskin product was super hard, as Wonderskin has so many amazing cosmetics!

1. Wonderskin Wonder Blading Brow Stain & Go Masque

The Wonderskin Wonder Blading Brow Stain & Go Masque is a patented liquid blading technology that uses treated pigments and dyes to hyper-stain brows for long-lasting, natural looking colour. It provides 48 hours of wear, and the colour won’t transfer onto clothes or other surfaces, won’t fade or budge, and is waterproof so will never run.

As I was well overdue for my top-up of eyebrow tattooing, the Wonderskin Wonder Blading Brow Stain & Go Masque seemed to be a great alternative!

I decided to go for the shade Brunette, which turned out to be a great match. The applicator brush made applying this masque super easy to apply.

Once applied to the brows, I left the masque for a few minutes before wiping off with a damp cotton pad. This revealed natural looking eyebrows that were slightly darker, and the stain had done well to fill in areas that were looking a bit patchy.

This Blading Brow Stain lasted really well throughout the day, and there was no transfer or run, but I can’t comment if it lasted the full 48 hours as the results weren’t massively drastic.

2. Medicube Deep Vita C Capsule Cream

I completely see the hype with this cream!

I have been using the Medicube Deep Vita C Capsule Cream every morning for about 2 weeks now, and my skin feels very soft and smooth. I have also noticed that my skin is looking brighter.

The encapsulated vitimin capsules are a brilliant design for prolonging the potency of these key ingredients. Vitamin C is usually quick to deteriorate, and the amount of serums I’ve had to bin because of this seems so wasteful.

I only use 1 of the Vita C Capsules with a bit of the gel, and this ratio works fabulous for my skin. The cream smells nice, is easy to apply, and soaks in very well.

I also really like how this cream allows you to adjust to Capsule to gel ratio to suit your own skin type or skin needs.

3. Mellows Beauty Unicorn Shave Butter

This Mellows Beauty Unicorn Shave Butter is packed full of nourishing organic Shea Butter and Grapeseed Oil to give you an ultra close shave. This shaving butter helps to combat ingrowns, prevent shaving rashes, and leave skin feeling silky smooth.

This butter can also be lathered up with some warm water to create a super nourishing body wash!

This Mellows Beauty Unicorn Shave Butter really is as good as it looks.

I used to use shaving foam but found it very messy, especially as the foam carried on coming out of the nozzle once you had finished. This shaving butter comes in a tub, so you just take what you need and then screw the lid back on.

I love the smell of this shaving butter. It is absolutely lush, and the texture of this butter is also very nice too.

This shaving butter was easy to apply to the skin and really helped my razor glide over my skin, giving my legs a nice, clean shave. My legs felt super smooth and smelled lush.

4. ISOCLEAN Easy Pour Brush Cleaner

The ISOCLEAN Makeup Brush Cleaner removes makeup, dirt, germs, dust, and dead skin that accumulate on makeup brushes within only 60 seconds, with no rinsing needed.

It removes even the toughest formulas and pigments and will help prolong the life of your brushes.

I used to use a makeup brush cleansing foam but found that it took several attempts to get my brushes completely clean, and making sure they were thoroughly rinsed of foam took ages. And then there were hours of waiting my brushes to dry!

This ISOCLEAN Easy Pour Brush Cleaner has now made cleaning my makeup brushes so much easier and much more effective. I can also go on to use my brushes pretty much straight after cleaning them.

Yes, there is a chemical smell to this cleaner, but it is not overpowering.

5. NYX Professional Makeup Brow Glue Instant Brow Styler

This eyebrow cosmetic is an instant brow styler from NYX that gives up to 16 hours of extreme hold. This glue-like gel is transparent, flake-resistant, and dries down non-sticky with a natural finish. It’s quick and easy to apply – simply brush on and style in place to create limitless brow-raising looks that actually stay in place!

I have never used eyebrow glue until I tried The Brow Glue from NYX Professional Makeup, as I always thought they were designed to make eyebrows look thicker.

This brow glue was easy to use, and the small head brush made application more precise. It really helped to make my eyebrows look more sleek, tidy, and defined.

The only thing I did notice was that when I was applying the glue to my brows, there looked like small clumps of glue residue left on my eyebrows. This wasn’t really any big deal for me as I just gently wiped it into my eyebrows without any issue. Admittedly, I was wearing foundation when I applied this glue, so I’m not sure if this caused the issue!
