Packaging

I was gifted a 10ml version of La Roche-Posay MelaB3 Serum, which came in a small cardboard box. Within the box was a dark-coloured glass bottle containing the serum, with a standard screw top lid and a separate pipette style screw top lid.

Active Ingredients

• Melasyl™ Active: Fights hyperpigmentation by intercepting excess melanin at a different stage of its production before it marks the skin, helping to prevent the appearance of pigment irregularities. 
• Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): A dermatological powerhouse, proven to target dark marks and pigmentation. MELA B3 serum helps to visibly fade dark marks, including post acne marks and discolorations.
• LHA & Retimy Palmitate: A powerful yet gentle exfoliating active duo known to boost skin’s surface cell renewal. Skin appears more radiant and even.

How to Use

Apply 3-4 drops morning and/or evening to face, neck & décolleté after cleansing. Always complete morning routine with daily SPF.

I have been using the La Roche-Posay MelaB3 Serum for just over a week now, and I can clearly see the improvements in the ppst-blemish marks and other dark spots on my skin. Usually, it takes weeks, if not months, for my post-acne marks to disappear, but using this serum has reduced this to within 1 week. The serum itself is a little bit gloppy, but it goes onto the skin really well and soaks in nicely. It doesn’t cause any irritation, and in my eyes, the serum is absolutely brilliant!
