On the back of the bottle, there is an open jar symbol (and on the box), which indicates how long the product will stay good after it has been opened. The gel moisturiser shows 12M, meaning the cream will be good to use for 12 months after opening.

Also, did you know that Murad is part of TerraCyle? This is a free recycling program to help reduce the amount of waste going to landfills. The idea behind this program is to reuse, upcyle, and recycle waste.

The consistency of this Daily Clarifying Oil-Free Water Gel is somewhere between a lotion and a gel. It isn’t typically what I’d choose to use as a moisturiser, but combined with the serum that I am currently using, this seems to work well with my skin. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky or greasy and seems to just glide on to the skin nicely.

I have tried this water gel without any serum, but I just felt that my skin needed that extra bit moisturisation hense, the inclusion of a moisturising serum.

I love how refreshing this water gel makes my skin feel, which makes it perfect as a morning moisturiser. It also works really well under makeup and seems to stop my skin from getting to oily.
