The Murad Daily Clarifying Peel is a multi-action, nightly peel smooths texture and improves the look of pores with 3 powerhouses. Its derm-approved exfoliation helps clear pores and even out texture.

Packaging

Murad uses colour-coded packaging to help identify a particular collection / concern. So, in this instance, blue packaging represents the Murad Blemish Collection.

The Daily Clarifying Peel solution comes in a glass bottle, and you can see the liquids inside, which, until the bottle is shaken, you can clearly see the two different liquid textures

On the back of the glass bottle, there is an open jar symbol (and on the box), which indicates how long the product will stay good after it has been opened. This bottle shows 12M, meaning the solution will be good to use for 12 months after opening.

Also, did you know that Murad is part of TerraCyle? This is a free recycling program to help reduce the amount of waste going to landfills. The idea behind this program is to reuse, upcyle, and recycle waste.

Ingredients

• AHA (Glycolic Acid): Removes dull surface cells to smooth and clarify the skin.
• BHA (Salicylic Acid): Exfoliates the skin to minimise the look of pores.
• Retinoid: Resurfaces and helps improve surface cell turnover to refine and smooth skin texture.

How to Use

After cleansing the skin, shake the daily clarifying peel and dispense onto a cotton pad. Sweep over face, neck, and chest. Do not rinse.

I was a bit concerned about this peel, as the word peel made me automatically think of stinging skin, but this peel was actually so gentle on my skin.

As with most skincare, it is so important to give this bottle a good shake to make sure the solution is thoroughly mixed. I felt like I didn’t really need to apply too much of this solution to a cotton  wool pad as it does seem a little goes a long way.

This peel didn’t irritate my skin or leave my skin feeling dry. It definitely helped to reduce break-outs, but unfortunately, not all breakouts are as easy to prevent (hormonal), but it did prevent these blemishes from getting too bad.

This daily clarifying peel actually came as part of the Murad Blemish Collection, which also included the InvisiScar Resurfacing Treatment and the Daily Clarifying Oil-Free Water Gel. These skincare products are perfect from anyone suffering from blemishes and/or post-blemish marks.
