As part of week one of the Vitality Boosting Skin Ritual, I have been mixing the Jurlique Activating Water Essence+ with the Jurlique Rare Rose Face Oil and applying to my face and neck every evening. The idea behind combining both of these is that the Activating Water Essence+ allows the Rare Rose Face Oil to penetrate much deeper into the skin, giving a much more hydrated and glow-boosting appearance.

How to Use

As part of the Vitality Boosting Skin Ritual, it is recommended, after cleansing, to mix 8 drops of the Jurlique Activating Water Essence+ with 2 drops of the Jurlique Rare Rose Face Oil and gently massage in to the face and neck.

Firstly, I LOVE the smell of both the Activating Water Essence+ and the Rose Face Oil. They remind me of essential oils, which always makes me feel relaxed, just by that scent alone!

The Activating Water and Rose Oil mixes well together and goes on to the skin really nicely. This duo doesn’t take very long to soak into the skin, so you are not waiting too long before your beauty sleep! I have been using this duo every night for the past seven nights and can honestly say that my skin is feeling very soft, which becomes very obvious when I cleanse my skin in the morning.

I have to admit, though, I have been using more than the 8:2 ratio, probably more like 12:4, and it still soaks into my skin really well. I have always liked to apply that bit more!
